Start with the room after dusk
Record the other light sources, wall color, viewing direction, and times the object will be used. A dramatic studio image does not predict every real room condition.
Treat distance as a design control
A small change between source, aperture, and wall can sharpen or soften a shadow. The approved proof should state the intended offsets instead of promising one universal projection.
Keep the source serviceable
Diffusers, drivers, and LED modules need ventilation and access. The sculpture should not force a complete replacement when a responsible electrical component reaches end of life.
